STAGE IS SET FOR THE KONKANI SHOW “GHARA IEA”


The count down has begun for Menino De Bandar’s Konkani Musical show entitled “Ghara Iea”. Fantasy Enterprise is organizing the show in Qatar. It will be held on 18th June, 2004 at the Ministry of Education Hall, at 4.30 PM. The Main Sponsor for the show is Sign – Tech Neon and it is Co-Sponsored by Family Chicken Centre & Haidary Trading Co., Official Hotel: Guests Palace Hotel.

Fantasy Enterprise on behalf of the Goans and Konkani Speaking community in Qatar will pay short tributes to Fr. Freddy J Da Costa, Mr. Felicio Cardozo and Mr. Frank Pires who passed away in a tragic accident at Haveri in Hubli, Karnataka (India) in early hours of May 17, 2004. Fr. Freddy J Da Costa and Mr. Felicio Cardozo were the strong supporters and dedicated their whole life for the cause of Konkani language. The show will be compeered by Mr. Rosario D’Cunha.              

Menino De Bandar promises that he will be presenting a well-cooked spicy show in Doha. Doha audience will be getting two bonus songs, sung by Doha resident not other than Goan Favorite “Peter Camilo”. Peter Camilo’s songs are well appreciated by young and old in Doha as well as in Goa. His comedy numbers are requested “encore” at least two or three times.

The line up of Artistes are as follows: - Roshan, Ida, Anju, Jayanti, Domnic, Louis Bachan, Peter, Francis de Tuem, Joe, Seno, Peter de Macassana, Leslie, Pravin, Xavier, Josinho and Menino de Bandar.

The gates will be opened at 3.30 PM.
